Old Fashioned Christmas at Kent House is a FREE family event. There will be plenty of Christmas crafts for children to take home with them and they can decorate the Kent House Christmas Tree with old fashioned popcorn and cranberry garland and paper chains. There will be a visit from Papa Noel and free hot cocoa (or lemonade if it’s warm outside) and cookies for all to enjoy. Kent House is located at 3601 Bayou Rapides Road in Alexandria, LA 71303. On Tuesday evening, December 10, 2019, the Red River Chorale will present Celebrating Christmasat 7:30 P.M. at St. Francis Xavier Cathedral in downtown Alexandria .

Set in the beautiful sanctuary of St. Francis Xavier Cathedral, our annual Christmas concert will feature a joyful procession and a variety of Christmas and holiday music, both sacred and secular. In addition to unaccompanied selections, the chorus will sing music accompanied by piano, organ, and string ensemble.

Tickets are $15 for adults and $5 for students.
