The following has been released to Q93 from Cleco:
PINEVILLE, La. – Jan. 11, 2021 (5 p.m. update) – As of 5 p.m. today, Cleco had restored power to roughly 4,000 of the 5,300 customers affected by the mix of ice and snowthat moved through north and central Louisiana.
Cleco estimates the majority of its customers should have their power back on today with some scattered outages overnight.
“We anticipate most customers will have their power restored tonight, but some customers in the Stanley Lake, Pleasant Hill and Pelican communities could be without power overnight,” said James Lass, director of distribution operations and emergency management. “Crews are continuing to work into the night with the goal of restoringpower to all customers.”
